               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Genetics Counselor<BR>Location: Washington-Walla Walla<BR>Job Number:_19110<BR>Providence is calling a Genetics Counselor to Providence St Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA.<BR>We are seeking a licensed Genetics Counselor to provide genetics counseling and testing to patients and their families.<BR><BR>In this position you will: <BR>* Coordinate, administer and deliver medical genetics counseling and testing services to patients and families. <BR>* Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence St. Mary Regional Cancer Center, Providence St. Mary medical Center and Providence Health and services.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Master?s degree in Genetics Counseling from an accredited school -OR- a doctorate from a medical genetics training program accredited by the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG) or an equivalent program as determined by the AMBG.<BR>* Active Genetics Counselor license in Washington State<BR>* Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and other health care team members.<BR>* Ability to work with others within a team structure to ensure quality patient care.<BR>* Strong critical thinking skills.<BR><BR>About the hospital you will serve.<BR>Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington is a full service hospital with some of the best technology, expertise, specialists and primary care physicians in the region.
