 <td align="left">JOB DESCRIPTION: General Repack Heavy Duty Worker is needed for frozen vegetable plant in Weston, Oregon (south of Walla Walla, Washington) to supply labor of a heavy duty nature in the essential functions of the everyday operations of Repack. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or cold conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud Protective head gear (bump cap), hair net, and company approved hearing protection are required on this job. Aprons, sleeve guards, and various types of gloves are also required if needed. JOB REQUIREMENTS: <li>Ability to understand simple verbal instructions. </li> <li>Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out one or two step instructions. </li> <li>Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. </li> <li>Must be agile (move around machinery). </li> <li>Ability to lift 55 pounds regularly. </li> HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE: This is a full-time seasonal position until about the end of November, will work 40 plus hours per week depending on need.
