               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Medical Assistant - Certified<BR>Location: Washington-Walla Walla<BR>Job Number:_19314<BR>Providence is calling a Certified Medical Assistant to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA.<BR><BR>This is a full time position for the Onoclogy deparmtent at St. Mary''s.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Work closely with physicians and mid-level providers (i.e. nurse practitioners, etc.) to help ensure the delivery of high quality patient care.<BR>* Apply your knowledge, skills, and experience in patient interactions toward the care for our patients by maintaining patient flow, taking vital signs and preparing charts.<BR>* Schedule needed testing, aid in telephone follow-up work, computer data entry, referral entry and peripheral blood draws.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* High School diploma or GED equivalent<BR>* Certification for Certified Medical Assistant in the state of Washington<BR>* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - must have a Category A certification to perform peripheral blood draws<BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* One year previous experience in an acute care setting<BR><BR>About the ministry you will serve.<BR>Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington is a full service hospital with some of the best technology, expertise, specialists and primary care physicians in the region.
