Manages assigned product(s) from conceptual stage through product life cycle to optimize corporate objectives by performing the following duties:<BR>• Develops and owns product roadmap(s) including management of value creation, product strategy, research and development requirements, sales and operations strategies.<BR>• Conducts marketing research and analysis for products, markets, and regions. <BR>• Creates Opportunity Analysis and Marketing Requirements Documents for new products.  <BR>• Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.<BR>• Guides product line maintenance for issues including obsolescence, improvement and upgrades, cost reduction, life cycle management, and pricing.<BR>• Coordinates and develops marketing, sales, engineering, and financial plans for product line, including cost and factory margin tracking and analyses.<BR>• Reviews progress continually through product life cycle to ensure attainment of objectives.<BR>• Maintains communications and contacts to collect and analyze technical, financial, marketing, schedule, and sales information for product line.<BR>• Tracks competitive intelligence and communicates as appropriate to the organization.<BR>• Manages projects for a product line.<BR>• Creates and leads training for personnel on new products/markets.<BR>• Develops sales tools and conducts training.<BR><BR><b>Personal Characteristics </b><BR>• Effective problem solver with strong project management skills<BR>• Effective negotiator<BR>• Strong work ethic<BR>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills<BR>• Flexible and adaptive <BR>• Capable of working well under pressure<BR>• Capable of managing multiple and challenging assignments concurrently and independently<BR>• High energy and self-motivated<BR>• Ethical, honest and compassionate <BR><BR><b>Professional Characteristics </b><BR>• Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B. S.)or higher from four-year college or university in a technical or engineering field.  <BR>• Have a minimum of five years plus of progressively challenging marketing and engineering experience preferably dealing with international B2B capital equipment.   Experience with optical equipment a plus!<BR>• Strong inbound marketing experience related to segmentation, business planning, product road mapping, positioning.<BR>• Proven track record of experience related to determining market needs, cost, technical resources, building a business case and strategically aligning them to company vision and goals. <BR>• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.<BR><BR><b>Disqualifiers</b><BR>No B2B Marketing experience<BR>No product planning, product marketing (i.e. roadmaps, segmentation, market analysis etc) experience</font></td>
