               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Certified Surgical Technician<BR>Department: Surgery Unit<BR>Schedule: Pool Position<BR>Shift: Day and Day/Evening shifts<BR>Hours: as needed, no guarantee of hours<BR>Hours/PP: varies<BR>Salary: Depends on Experience<BR>Job Details: <BR>* Completion of Accredited Program is required<BR>* Certification Required<BR>* Experience is preferred<BR>* <BR>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING: <BR><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> <BR>1.         High school diploma or equivalent<BR>2.         Certified School of Surgical Technology<BR>3.         May consider LPN if trained in the scrubbing role-dependant on experience and knowledge base.<BR>4.         National Certification by Association of Surgical Technologists within one year of hire, and recertification as needed.<BR>5.         Must be currently certified in CPR, and recertified annually.<BR>6.         Maintain Registration annually.<BR>7.         Must possess basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, keyboarding, email communication and password management.<BR><BR>GENERAL FUNCTION:<BR><BR>Functions as vital member of the OR team assuming responsibility for the scrub position during surgical intervention.
