Implements the Bereavement program to include patient follow-up and community wide Bereavement Support. Recruits, interviews, screens, orients, trains and arranges in-services for hospice volunteers and bereavement activities. Participates in the Interdisciplinary Group for Volunteer and Bereavement. Assures compliance with state, federal and Joint Commission regulations and standards regarding Hospice volunteers and Bereavement services. Manages the agency?s Comfort Therapy Program.<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Job Requirements<BR><BR>Minimum Education <BR>? Masters Degree from an accredited School of Social Work<BR><BR>Minimum Work Experience <BR>? Minimum of one year experience in the health care field, preferably Home Health and Hospice.<BR><BR>Required Licenses/ Certifications <BR>? Licensed in the State of Washington<BR><BR>Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities <BR>? Knowledge of grief and loss theory and an interest in working with end of life patients and their support systems<BR>? Knowledge of Community Resources<BR>? Comfort working with Volunteers<BR>? Must possess basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, accurate keyboarding, email communication and password management. </font></td>
