Within the Cerner system, this position will focus on developing custom queries and programming customization within the PL/SQL environment, utilizing CCL and presenting such results using Java technology. The analyst is responsible for all phases of the assigned information system implementation and ongoing operation within their assigned specialty or area and providing backup support for additional areas or specialties. These aspects include planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of systems, processes, and workflow. The analyst shall maintain a positive working relationship with the end user departments seeking opportunities for collaboration and consolidation of effort for organization initiatives and acting as an advocate of IT systems to the end users while providing a conduit to appropriate IT personnel from the end user community. Throughout the performance of all assigned tasks, the analyst shall stay current on trends and developments in the functional areas and opportunities to leverage technology to meet evolving needs (especially after go-live).<BR>The analyst shall focus primarily upon the development and presentation of data to the end users of the Cerner Millennium software suite of products, providing process analysis and software support for the healthcare business. Holds analysis, system development and ongoing operational responsibility for Cerner mPages including clinical and operations summary query development and front end presentation. This is a technically focused role, designed to deliver both customized and structured information presentation to the end users while maintaining manageable, supportable, and upgradeable solutions. Additional applications support for non-Cerner applications will be assigned on an as needed basis in support of the overall vision and goals the for the IT Application Services department. Works with other hospital applications administrators to support installation, upgrade and maintenance of other information systems. <BR><BR><BR><BR>Job Requirements<BR><BR>Minimum Education <BR>? A Bachelor?s degree with a business or information systems management emphasis is required<BR>? Demonstrable experience managing a Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle database environment required. Certification preferred. <BR><BR>Minimum Work Experience <BR>? 5 or more years of applications and/or database support experience is required<BR>? Previous experience implementing one or more Cerner Mille </font></td>
