               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">SUMMARY:<BR><BR>Develops new products by planning, testing, creating product specifications, monitoring production and quality systems.<BR><BR>DUTIES:<BR><BR>* Contributes to new product planning by providing food technology, production, and quality control information and opinion.<BR><BR>* Prepares new product samples by coordinating with plant production.<BR><BR>* Tests new product samples by convening and supervising consumer test panels; analyzing results; recommending improvements.<BR><BR>* Tests new products by analyzing results of consumer opinion polls; recommending improvements.<BR><BR>* Monitors production quality by establishing testing methodology; analyzing quality trends; recommending improvements; resolving production problems; studying supplier specifications.<BR><BR>* Supports packaging by providing list of ingredients for labels.<BR><BR>* Accomplishes manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.<BR><BR>SKILLS:<BR><BR>5 years food product development<BR>BS in Food Science or related.  MS preferred.<BR>PC Skills are required.<BR>Production equipment (mixing, cutting, depositing, etc.)<BR>USDA, Product Knowledge, Product Development, Understanding the Customer, Production Planning, Managing Processes, Food Sanitation, Attention to Detail, Supports Innovation, Clinical Lab Testing, General Consulting Skills, Food Research<BR></font></td>
