<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">A start up company located in beautiful Wilsonville, Oregon, is looking for a Marine Mechanic. If you have 2 years of successful experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, and can rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, this position may be for you. The Marine Mechanic performs maintenance, diagnostics, disassembles, inspections, rebuilds, and reassembles all components of equipment (i.e. diesel and gas engines, power trains, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, electrical codes, etc.) either in a shop or barges and cranes with or without supervision.<BR><BR>Specific Skills:<BR>• Strong working knowledge of major brands marine diesel engine systems (Detroit, Cummins) installation, maintenance, repair and replacement, experience on older equipment is needed.<BR>• Strong working knowledge of repairing and maintenance of hydraulic equipment<BR>• Proven working knowledge of marine maintenance and repair of barges and cranes<BR>• Must have record of positive work performance and safety record<BR>• The ability to ride on inland water vessels, as well as, walk and access vessels and barges as needed<BR>• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions is required<BR>• Basic computer skills such as, opening, creating and updating content in MS word documents and Excel spreadsheets<BR>• Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and or /hazardous conditions<BR>• The ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing with other individuals, employees, teams, customers and stakeholders of the business at various levels of the organization in a business like and professional manner<BR>• The ability to modify communication style in order to influence, persuade, negotiate, and engage all parties according to the audience and circumstance <BR>• Take initiative and by proactive in addressing issues<BR>• Quickly and efficiently complete tasks in a safe manner<BR>• The ability to demonstrate conscientiousness, dependability and commitment to the role, team and company<BR>• Must be able to work with minimal supervision<BR>• Must be organized and able to work effectively as a team member<BR><BR>Education and or Experience:<BR>• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.<BR>• A two-year Associates degree in Marine Mechanics or Technical Degree is preferred.<BR>• A minimum of 2 years of successful experience as a Maintenance Mechanic is preferred.<BR>• A valid Transportation Workers Identification Credential (T.W.I.C) is required.</font></td>
