<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">alt="Job Summary" /><BR><BR>Mechanical Design/Engineer (Pro/E or SolidWorks/Plastic Molding)<BR><BR><BR>Location: Woodinville, WA Category: Engineering<BR>Status: Temporary/Contract Reference: US_EN_2_106078_206741<BR>Salary: N/A Posted: March 08,2012<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR> <BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Our client on the east side has an immediate need for a Mechanical Design Engineer at their facility in the Bothell area.<BR><BR><BR>This is a DIRECT HIRE position and the salary depends on qualifications.<BR><BR><BR>Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:<BR><BR>Creating and modifying parts assemblies and BOM?s using Pro/Engineer and Agile documentation systems.<BR>3+ years in Mechanical Design/Engineering<BR>Work with USA and Asian vendors to: source new parts, estimate and track both prototype and productions tooled parts, order prototypes and tools and perform first article inspections on parts and assemblies.<BR>See design through from the concept to sustaining productions including: estimating time spent on stages of the project hitting production including: estimating time spent on stages of the project, hitting project deadlines, generating ideas to improve manufacturing and reduce costs, and any other task assigned.<BR><BR>Specific Job Skills:<BR><BR>Heavy use of Pro/Engineer or SolidWorks.<BR>Experience with Plastic Molding.<BR>Strong communication skills and the ability to work on several projects as once.<BR>Fabrication of wood, plastic and metal parts, tooling and assembly and general manufacturing processes.<BR>Travel to China and other Asian countries.<BR><BR>Education and/or Experience:<BR><BR>BS in Mechanical Engineering and/or 5-10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.<BR>Experience in Pro/Engineer or SolidWorks.<BR>Knowledge of general office software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Acrobat.<BR><BR>This is a great chance to learn the audio industry and be a part of shaping brands. The candidate will work under the department Director to support Mechanical to support the Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design groups in all design centers located in the USA. They will also work with Product Managers, Electrical Engineering, Product Validation and Compliance, and outside vendors both in the USA and Asia. Some travel may be required to Asia at critical times of projects.
