- 0830 Supervisory Mechanical Engineer
- 0850 Supervisory Electrical Engineer
Serves as Chief, Marietta Ohio Mooring Site (MOMS) and Marietta Repair Party (MRS), Operations and Readiness Division, providing customer service to the Operations Project Managers who are responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Locks and Dams and the multi-purpose flood control projects of the Huntington District.
Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) will be required approximately 60%. Travel will be to repair fleet locations, Marietta Ohio Mooring Site, and other projects as required.
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) cost will NOT authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government interest.
Who May Apply:
- Current Army Civilian Employee - current Army employee with competitive status (includes Army employees serving on a career or career-conditional appointment). - DoD Transfer (Excluding Army) - currently employed as a permanent career or career-conditional DoD (i.e., Air Force, Navy, Marines, DLA, DFAS, or DoDEA) employee in the competitive service. - Non-DoD Transfer - currently employed as a permanent career or career-conditional Non-DoD (e.g., Dept of Labor, VA) employee in the competitive service. (NOTE: If you indicate "yes" for this question, you MUST submit a copy of your latest non-award SF-50 that reflects your highest grade held on a permanent basis along with your application/resume package).
- Reinstatement - a former Federal service employee who attained career status on a permanent, competitive status appointment OR had obtained career-conditional status and am within three years of the date of separation.

- Veterans Employment Opportunity Act (VEOA) - a veteran who served 3 or more years of continuous active duty service in the military (NOTE: if released shortly before completing a 3-year tour, you are considered to meet this eligibility); OR I am a preference eligible; AND my discharge was performed under honorable conditions.
