As a Claims Representative with the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board (RRB), you will provide a full-range of client services regarding benefits available under the various programs administered by the RRB.

RELOCATION EXPENSES WILL NOT BE PAID.

This job announcement may be used to fill one or more vacancies.

THE POSITION(S) WILL BE FILLED AT THE GRADE GS-07 LEVEL ONLY.  THE SELECTED CANDIDATE(S) MAY ATTEND A TWO TO THREE WEEK FORMAL TRAINING PROGRAM IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.

THE SELECTED CANDIDATE(S) WILL SERVE UNDER THE FORMAL CLAIMS REPRESENTATIVE TRAINING AGREEMENT AND WILL BE PROMOTED TO THE GS-09 LEVEL IN SIX MONTHS IF THE INDIVIDUAL MEETS ALL REQUIREMENTS FOR PROMOTION UNDER THE TRAINING AGREEMENT.  CANDIDATE(S) WILL BE PROMOTED TO THE GS-10 LEVEL AFTER MEETING QUALIFICATION AND TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS.
