YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE This position is located within Primary Care Service at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center. The VA Medical Center is located in the heart of West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle on 175 acres in historic Berkeley County. The Medical Center offers a comprehensive range of services, including internal medicine, ambulatory surgery, audiology and speech pathology, dental, nursing home, nutrition, podiatry, prosthetics, women's health, mental health, and rehabilitation medicine. Patient Care is provided through an integrated primary care concept, and each veteran is assigned to a team of health care providers who follow the patient's care both as an inpatient and an outpatient. The Medical Center has a service area of nearly 130,000 veterans in West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Note: The full performance level of this vacancy is a GS-5. The actual grade at which an applicant may be selected for this vacancy is a GS-5. The Professional Standards Board (a peer-review group) will review the selected candidate's education and experience and recommend the grade and step at which the candidate will be placed.
