The Computer Assistant (Production Scheduler) performs computer workflow duties for numerous major and minor systems by various Fiscal IT offices. The work involves a variety of tasks concerned with technicality of computer principles, hardware and software scheduling methods and procedures, as well as a constantly changing environment caused by hardware and software failure.

This Treasury position is currently located in either the Bureau of the Public Debt or Financial Management Service. Upon completion of the planned consolidation of these two bureaus, the position will be located in the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, still within the Department of the Treasury.
