This is a Pathways Career Internship Program position at the St. Croix Wetland Management District, New Richmond, WI. Incumbent of this position serves as a Student Trainee (Biology) performing a variety of duties that provide meaningful training and developmental opportunities leading to a career in wildlife biology or refuge management. The intern performs a variety of duties designed to orient and expose the student to the mission and work of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and to the benefits and conditions of Federal employment.
Applicants must be mobile to all duty locations in Region 3 before and after graduation, if offered a permanent position upon graduation from college.
This position requires the selectee to work a regular work schedule during the summer. Work will be optional during the school year.
