The Northern Rockies Servicing Human Resources Office is soliciting applications for the purpose of filling the permanent position listed above, located at Devils Tower National Monument.  The area of consideration is ALL US CITIZENS.

 

This is a permanent, part-time position. Incumbent will work 32 hours/4 days per week year-round.

Devils Tower NM is our nation's first national monument. Located in northeast Wyoming, it was set aside to preserve the 867 foot column of igneous rock along with prehistoric/historic cultural resources, and the plants and animal life of the area. Park size is 1,347 acres with an elevation of about 3,800 feet. The climate is usually mild and typical of the Black Hills region. High temperatures can range from the mid-90's in the summer to the 50's in the spring and fall. The three closest communities, Hulett (9 miles), Sundance (28 miles), and Moorcroft (30 miles) have basic services. The larger communities of Spearfish, SD, and Gillette, WY, are approximately 1 hour away with many services available.
