The Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) mission is to develop, test, and field an integrated, layered, ballistic missile defense system (BMDS) to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends against all ranges of enemy ballistic missiles in all phases of flight.
This is the advanced trainee level in the Career Development Program leading to the target position of Information Technology Specialist (Security), GS-2210-11. The incumbent receives a wide range of training through rotational assignments, formal training courses, and on-the-job experience that supports senior staff such as analyzing audit logs, participating in reviews and assessments of violations, developing proposals and recommendations, compiling data for certifications and accreditations, etc.
Please note that this is an Administrative Careers with America (ACWA) series position and will start at a GS-7 Step 1.
