JOB SUMMARY:

The Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) mission is to develop, test, and field an integrated, layered, ballistic missile defense system (BMDS) to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends against all ranges of enemy ballistic missiles in all phases of flight. 

This is the advanced trainee level in the Career Development Program leading to the target position of Logistics Management Specialist GS-346-11.  The incumbent receives a wide range of training through rotational assignments, formal training courses, and on-the-job experience in the various functional areas of the acquisition program.

Please note that as of 9/10/12 the correct beginning salary in Huntsville, AL for a GS-7 is $39,422 and the ending salary at the promotion potental to a GS-11 is $75,843.
