This position is located Precision Fires Rocket & Missile System. The Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), a life cycle management command is headquartered at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, a 38,000-acre installation that is home to over 60 international, federal, and Department of Defense organizations. It is a major subordinate command of the Army Materiel Command. The central part of AMCOM's job involves acquisition and sustainment support for aviation and missile systems throughout their lifecycle. AMCOM works in partnership with Program Executive Officers and Project Managers, furnishing nearly 1,950 staff spaces dedicated to providing integration engineering, logistics and contracting support covering over 90 major systems - about half the systems in the U.S. Army
