Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

This position will support the US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Integrated Materiel Management Center, Strategic Integration Office, Logistic Information/Communications Division.

The Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), a life cycle management command is headquartered at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, a 38,000-acre installation that is home to over 60 international, federal, and Department of Defense organizations. It is a major subordinate command of the Army Materiel Command.

AMCOM works in partnership with Program Executive Officers and Project Managers, furnishing nearly 1,950 staff spaces dedicated to providing integration engineering, logistics and contracting support covering over 90 major systems - about half the systems in the U.S. Army.
