About the Position:
This position is located with US Army Contracting Command, Huachuca Division, Fort Huachuca, AZ. You will review justifications for other than full and open competition, other required clearances and requests for the procurement of equipment and services with services being the predominant work. Analyze requirements, recommend revisions to performance work statements, and make recommendations concerning the type of contract, milestones, and acquisition plan. Conduct initial post-award conference with the contractor to clarify standard and special contract provision and performance requirements. Evaluate proposals for conformance with the solicitation and perform cost/price analysis, including review of cost breakdowns, audit reports and contractor invoices to determine reasonableness. Prepare initial agency position packets on protests, claims, and appeals and prepare case files for cases being presented to the General Service Board of Contract Appeals (GSBCA), General Accounting Office (GAO), Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA), or U.S. Claims Court.
