About the Position: Serves as a Server Administrator responsible for managing the installations Electronic Mail system and server farms. The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring the availability and functionality of services vial local and wide area networks. To be successful, the individual must be able to multi-task in a very dynamic and constantly changing environment and have extensive knowledge of various server operating systems (i.e., Server 2003, 2008, Unix, etc.,).

This is a TERM appointment not to exceed (NTE) year and 1 day, with the possibility to extend up to 4 years. Appointment to this position, however, does not convey permanent status in the Federal Service and will be for a period not to exceed 4 years. Position may be converted to permanent without further competition.
