This is an open continuous announcement for multiple locations throughout the US.  Since the locations vary, we accept applications for this occupation on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies within the VA Travel Nurse Corps become available. 

 

The VA Travel Nurse Corps is recruiting for multiple Registered Nurse (Travel Nurse) positions.

 

The VA Travel Nurse Corps Program (TNC) is a VA operated internal pool of Registered Nurses available for temporary short term assignments at VA Medical Centers throughout the country.  Most assignments are 13 weeks in duration.  RNs selected for the VA Travel Nurse Corps program will be appointed as intermittent nurses.  These intermittent nurses will be paid for the time they work and receive travel, lodging, meals and incidental expenses competitive with the private sector and in accordance with VA regulations.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

U.S. Citizenship

Full unrestricted Licensure, Certification, or Registration required.

Must pass pre-employment physical/health examination.

Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required.

Background and/or Security Investigation required.

English Language Proficiency required.
