MEDICINE SERVICE, Little Rock Campus, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System

Tour of Duty:  Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System is seeking an academic Hematologist/Oncologist.  The candidate should be board certified or eligible in Hematology/Medical Oncology, have special interest in Hematology and Hematological malignancies and coagulation disorders required.  The candidate will be involved in clinical work and participate in clinical trials, and will be involved in the teaching of students, residents, and Hematology/Oncology fellows.  

Area of Consideration:  The initial area of consideration is this Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS). Management retains the right to select any appropriate recruitment methods such as reassignment, appointment, transfer, reinstatement or other special appointment authorities such as those for disabled veterans, Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA) eligibles, Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA), severely disabled individuals, Interchange Agreements with other Agencies, etc. Candidates from other sources may be considered only after consideration has been given the best qualified candidates from this CAVHS.
