In this position the Contract Specialist will perform contract administration functions for healthcare and other personal and non-personal contracts valued over $12 million. The Contract Specialist will determine the availability of potential suppliers, provide assistance to technical specialists of contractually acceptable specifications, and prepare fixed-price contractual agreements. Vacancies from this announcement may be filled at the following grade levels: GS-05, GS-07 This position has promotion potential to the GS-11 grade level. If selected below the full performance level, incumbent may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.
