This position is located at the Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit Five (NEPMU-5), San Diego, CA. As the IT Specialist, you will provide automated, technical support and assistance to aide in successful accomplishment of the unit’s mission. You will be responsible for providing assistance in maintaining all hardware and software for computerized applications, diagnostics, troubleshooting and managing the repair of all information systems.  

 

Vacancies from this announcement may be filled at the following grade levels: GS-09, GS-11.

This position has promotion potential to the GS-11 grade level. If selected below the full performance level, incumbent may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.
