 The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work in our Primary and Ambulatory Outpatient Care Clinics in Santa Maria/San Luis Obispo. The NP will provide primary care to a panel of Veteran patients in a patient-centered, healthcare team approach.  He/she will function as a member of the Patient Aligned Care Teams (PACT) with emphasis on improving health outcomes through a system of care management and coordination. He/she collaborates with a lead physician designee in the team assigned. The NP is accountable to the Associate Chief, Nursing Service Community/Primary & Ambulatory Care and will report directly to the clinic Nurse Manager. This position is not open to novice Nurse Practitioners.

 

Please Note: Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Full unrestricted Licensure, Certification, or Registration required.

Must pass pre-employment physical examination.

Designated and/or Random Drug Testing may be required.
