This position has promotion potential to the GS-11 grade level. If selected below the full performance level, incumbent may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.

This position is located in the Western Area Counsel Office (WACO), Field Counsel Office located aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) Twenty-nine Palms, CA.

The Paralegal Specialist is responsible for oversight and management of legal support functions in the areas of Labor and Employment Law, Environmental and Land Use Law, Ethics, Acquisition and Fiscal Law, Information Law, Investigations Law and Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Law.
