Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

COMPETITIVE RECRUITMENT AND RELOCATION INCENTIVES WILL BE PAID (UP TO 25% OF YOUR SALARY).

Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.

Physician must be board certified in Pediatrics from the American Board.

Position may require you to perform telephonic after hours call shared with other providers. May be required to work weekend call duties and evenings.

This is an inclement weather position. Incumbent is expected to make every attempt to report for duty on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.

Work requires physical exertion, periods of standing and bending in the assessment, examination and treatment of patients. Moderate lifting, under 50 pounds, is required as assistance is given to other personnel in maneuvering patients into positions for examination, treatment and testing.

Work is performed in a clinical or similar setting. Regular and reoccurring exposure to moderate discomforts, and risks such as contagious diseases or exposure to infection is common. Safety precautions and use of personal protective equipment is required.

Duty location:  You will be working at the Premier Clinic located near Ft. Carson, CO.
