Colorado National Guard Dual Status Technician Announcement

 

Colorado National Guard Dual Status Technician Announcement Technicians are employed under the authority of Title 32 USC, Section 709, which states, in part, that technicians are to be employed in "the administration and training of the National Guard," and "the maintenance and repair of supplies issued to the National Guard."

AREA OF CONSIDERATION

 Open to current members of the Colorado Air National Guard (COANG) and those eligible to transfer into the COANG.

COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENT

 13SX

MAXIMUM MILITARY GRADE

 O-4

MINIMUM MILITARY GRADE

 E-1 with current AFOQT

 

There are multiple positions available for this announcement.  The highest scoring applicants will be placed accordingly into each position.

 

This announcement is opened until filled and can close or be extended, any time, at  the request of the Selecting Supervisor.

 

This position is located in Greeley, CO at the 137th Space Warning Squadron.  It's purpose is to ensure accurate reporting of land and sea ballistic missile launches, nuclear detonation, and space surveillance tracking and identification and to report warning data and collect and report infra-red radiation data of intelligence value.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Membership in the National Guard

Must hold the grade of E-1 to O-4

Compatible Military Assignment AFSC 13SX. Enlisted must have current AFOQT

Must acquire a Top Secret Security Clearance within one (1) year of hire

Must meet the requirements for a Space Physical

Participation in Direct Deposit is mandatory
