As the Government's financial manager, the Financial Management Service (FMS) provides central payment services to federal agencies, operates the federal government's collections and deposit systems, provides government-wide accounting and reporting services, and manages the collection of delinquent debt owed to the government. We are looking for highly qualified individuals to meet the challenges of expanding electronic services and processes to our customers and the American public. This position is located in the A/C area as assigned, in Washington, DC, Hyattsville, MD, or Parkersburg, WV.

 

In this position, you will serve as the technical expert and advisor to senior management providing direction, advice, guidance, and expertise in planning, developing, organizing and implementing the Business Process Management (BPM) Program.  In addition, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a seamless transition into emerging BPM continuous process improvement technologies, ideals, and capabilities to include but not limited to Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Value Stream Mapping, Earned Value Managements, and Cost Benefit Analysis.

This Treasury position is currently located in either the Bureau of the Public Debt or Financial Management Service.  Upon completion of the planned consolidation of these two bureaus, the position will be located in the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, still within the Department of the Treasury.
