The Office of Operations (OO) provides overall executive leadership and management for the daily operation, maintenance, and security of USDA’s Headquarters facilities and other physical assets.  In addition to meeting the occupational safety and health, architectural, engineering, general supply/equipment, and building services needs of USDA employees in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, provides mail management policies to USDA nationwide. 

This position is located in the OO, Facility Management Division (FMD), Washington Area Service Center (WASC), Repair and Alteration Branch (RAB).  The incumbent is responsible for the daily execution of facility services to the Headquarters complex employees and visitors.    They will plan, estimate, and inspect construction, alterations, repair and maintenance projects performed by in-house and contractor personnel on government own equipment and facilities. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for production control, scheduling, and other administrative and facility related duties.
