As a Retirement Expert in the Compensation & Benefits Division (C&B), Office of Human Resources, the C&B Division is committed to identifying, developing, and communicating innovative practices, programs and policies in its area of expertise and promoting their use throughout the OCC. The C&B Division examines contemporary developments in Retirement and Benefits in both the private and public sectors and serves as a source of expert knowledge for special interest groups, other federal agencies, FIRREA agencies and the private sector. The Division also provides advice and guidance to OCC employees in the administration of the full range of employee benefits programs such as federal employees health benefits (FEHB) and federal employee’s group life insurance (FEGLI), OCC life insurance, retirement for the CSRS/FERS, Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), 401K, and flexible spending account programs. In addition, C&B provides benefits orientation for new hires as well as preâ€?retirement and midâ€? career seminars.
Who May Apply 1. Current Federal employees on career or career-conditional (permanent) appointments in the competitive service, or former Federal employees with reinstatement eligibility in the local commuting area; or 2.
