This position is located in the Office of Consular Systems and Technology, Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA/CST). The Bureau was established under the Immigration and Nationality Act. The Bureau assists American citizens traveling or living abroad, issues visas to foreign nationals who wish to visit or reside in the United States, and adjudicates and processes U.S. citizens' applications for passports, the nations' premier identity document. The Office of Consular Systems and Technology provides a full range of systems support for the Consular function worldwide through the planning, design, development, implementation, installation, and ongoing support of automated systems.
