This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.
This is a high-performance organization on the cutting edge, comprised of 215 military, Department of the Army Civilian, and contracted members tasked with engineering, installing, operating, maintaining, and defending communications systems to enable operations for the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) combatant command and its joint, interagency, combined, and tenant elements. The position is located in the major multicultural city of Miami, FL.
