The West Palm Beach Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center is a dynamic medical center serving approximately 70,000 veterans. There are a total of 88 acute med/surg/ICU beds, 24 acute psych beds, a 120 bed extended care facility and a high volume ambulatory care program. State of the art primary and secondary treatment modalities and an electronic medical record support a managed care model of healthcare delivery. The West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center has an active affiliation with the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, the University of Florida, Nova Southeastern School of Osteopathic Medicine and the Nova School of Dentistry.
The Medical Center is located in beautiful Palm Beach County Florida, which is renown for its moderate climate, warm sandy beaches, excellent sports opportunities and cosmopolitan lifestyle. Florida has no State or City Income Taxes.
