Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

The work involves standing and bending in the assessment, examination and treatment of patients. Occasionally some lifting, possibly in excess of 45 pounds, will be required as assistance is given to other personnel in maneuvering patients into positions for examination, treatment, and testing.

Work is performed in a clinical setting where exposure to infectious or contagious diseases is common. Appropriate precautions must be taken to prevent the spread of disease to self and other patients. You are required to wear a uniform & use personal protective equipment as required & provided by the employer.

This position is subject to rotating shifts and/or irregular tour of duty to include weekends, nights, and/or holidays, depending on area of assignment.

Duty location: You will work in the Department of Warrior Care for the US Army Medical Command at Fort Benning, GA.
