The U.S. Census Bureau's National Processing Center (NPC) is an ultramodern data processing facility featuring the latest in telecommunications and computer processing technologies to support the nation's economic and demographic indicators. NPC is the Nation's center for collecting, capturing, and delivering timely, high-quality data products and services for surveys and censuses at the best value.

This position is located in the Health Unit, Management Services and Safety Section, Program Management and Services Branch (PMSB), National Processing Center (NPC) located in Jeffersonville, IN. The incumbent performs a full range of professional nursing services and serves as the Safety Representative in an Occupational Health Unit setting. Administers on-site emergency care for illnesses and injuries to employees from NPC, Army Reserve, on-site contractors and visitors.

Tour of Duty: Intermittent Schedule with variable shifts; Primarily Day Shift, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; the tour of duty could vary depending on Health Unit site where the nurse would be working. Intermittent work schedule means employment is without a regularly scheduled tour of duty. Intermittent employees are assigned to work on an "as needed" basis.
