This position is located in the Health Unit, Management Services and Safety Section, Program Management and Services Branch (PMSB), National Processing Center (NPC) in Jeffersonville, IN. The incumbent performs a full range of professional nursing services and serves as the Safety Representative in an Occupational Health Unit setting. Administers on-site emergency care for illnesses and injuries to employees from NPC, Army Reserve, on-site contractors and visitors.
Tour of Duty: Intermittent Schedule with variable shifts; Primarily Day Shift, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; the tour of duty could vary depending on Health Unit site where the nurse would be working. Intermittent work schedule means employment is without a regularly scheduled tour of duty. Intermittent employees are assigned to work on an "as needed" basis.
