Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

This position is located at Irwin Army Community Hospital (IACH), Fort Riley, KS. The Department of Defense approved a new $404 million dollar facility for IACH. The hospital is scheduled to be completed in 2014 and will be 550,000 square feet. This new facility will be 52 beds and provide state of the art patient rooms, more clinic space, and offer a better atmosphere for patient care. It will also include a new 8 bed in-patient psychiatric unit, a new feature for IACH.

Applications will be reviewed and referred for selection at periodic cut-off dates.  The announcement has been extended. The new cut-off date is 21 September, 2012 with an anticipated closing of 08 October, 2012.

Superior qualification pay and/or recruitment incentives may be paid based on specialized experience an applicant posseses.
