About the Position:
Serves as Information Technology Specialist in the Field Support Division, USAREC G6, Information Management Directorate (IMD-FS). The incumbent has the responsibility for providing technical advice, analysis, guidance and assistance on variety of user-friendly computer software products and non-procedural computer languages, LAN, WAN, E-Mail systems, complex computing systems and interfaces maintained by other agencies that are accessed by personnel; the development, integration and distribution of client configurations and troubleshooting of microcomputer hardware and software; and, providing training on these computer systems and software. Maintains a high degree of responsiveness throughout the commands. Long distance travel will be required.
