Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:

COMPETITIVE RECRUITMENT AND RELOCATION INCENTIVES MAY BE PAID (UP TO 25% OF YOUR SALARY).

Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.

Position requires working rotating shifts and on-call hours.

Position requires use of personal protective equipment as required and will be provided by the employer.

Must be board certified from the American Board of Internal Medicine. 

Duty location: You will work in the Department of Medicine in Ireland Army Community Hospital at Fort Knox, KY.
