POSITION TITLE: Nurse Practitioner, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, VAMC Baltimore, VA Maryland Health Care System, MD

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-Time

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

A full-time position exists for a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for General Surgery in the Surgical Care Clinical Center, Baltimore Medical Center. The selected individual will assure comprehensive care of patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit in conjunction with the critical care attendings and residents. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

-Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

-Acute Care Adult Nurse Practitioner certification required

-At least 3-5 years NP experience in critical care preferred
