About the Position:

Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.
Employee must be Board Certified in the field of internal medicine or family practice by the American Board.
May be required to perform weekend call duties.
Must use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as required by the employer.
Employees assigned to this position may be designated as Key Mission Essential and assume essential personnel status during inclement weather/emergencies.
Duty location: You will be working in the Warrior Primary Care Clinic for the Warrior Transition Unit at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD.
