About the Position:

This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.  This position is located at the CIMO, Headquarters, 902D Military Intelligence Group, Fort Meade, MD.

 

Fort Meade, Maryland is located midway between the cities of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. and close to the historical sites of Annapolis, Maryland. Fort Meade is virtually a city in itself. There is a modern exchange mall, bank, credit union, post office, and chapels and ample free parking is available

Serves as a System Administrator for the 902d MI Group. Performs a wide range of operating system, software and processing hardware support tasks associated with the ongoing operation/maintenance and enhancement of tactical data information systems and services. Provides advice and assistance in management, planning and coordination of analysis, design and development of training programs, design of network solutions and procurement of recommended solutions.
