This position is located in the Logistics Competency (NAWCAD 6.6) Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division. The Logistics Competency is responsible for logistics management of naval aviation aircraft, training equipment, support equipment and airborne weapons. Logistics management encompasses maintenance and logistics planning in the pre-operational phases of the equipment life cycle; the integration and management of maintenance/logistics support elements throughout the life cycle; the projection and adjustment of maintenance workload during the operational phases of the life cycle; the planning and implementation status of the modification program and the management of the Readiness Improvement Program (RIP) during the operation phases of the life cycle.
