Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.
About the Position: The work involves standing and bending in the assessment, examination and treatment of patients. Occasionally some lifting will be required as assistance is given to other personnel in maneuvering patients into positions for examination, treatment and testing.
The work is performed in a clinical setting where exposure to infectious and contagious diseases is common. Appropriate precautions must be taken to prevent the spread of disease to self and other patients.
This position is located in the Surgical Division, Otolaryngology within the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital (GLWACH).
