About the Position: This position is located at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital (GLWACH), Fort Leonard Wood, MO. You will work under the general supervision of the Chief, Pediatric Services, or Chief, Department of Primary Care, who will provide administrative guidance and assign workload. The incumbent will exercise independent judgment in selection and performance of the full range of diagnostic procedures for patients.

Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.
Physician is required to be Board Certified in Pediatrics or Family Practice.
You will be required to have a Hepatitis B immunization series as well as an immunization screening.
You are required to maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification & Neonatal Resuscitations Program (NRP) certification as well as Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.Fort Leonard Wood, in the beautiful south central Missouri Ozarks, covers more than 61,000 acres. The fort is located in Pulaski County. Bordering the installation to the north are the towns of Waynesville and St. Robert. The post is two miles south of Interstate 44.
