Because of a growing new program , there is currently a vacancy for  a full time registered nurses for the role of Staff Nurse with the Patient Aligned Care Team in the Primary Care Clinics.  The nurse is responsible for being an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, actively involved in the direction and delivery of quality care to veteran patients in the Primary Clinic. He/She demonstrates leadership in delivering patient care by effectively utilizing nursing process and providing education/guidance to the patients and families. Aspects of this nurse's role include direct and telephone care, as well as telemedicine. He/She assures that the delivery of care is in accordance with established standards, hospital policies and procedures and is consistent with the plan of other health care providers.  The nurse reports to the Nurse Manager of Primary Care.   The tour of duty will be days, Monday-Friday.

 

Salary/grade is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
