The Patient Centered Care/Magnet Coordinator nurse provides leadership and oversight to the planning, integration, implementation, and evaluation of both the Patient Centered Care and Magnet programs.  The nurse in this position functions as a leader and change agent for the Department of Patient Care Services and for the facility.  This position is a Monday through Friday, day shift position and reports to the Associate Director Patient Care Services (ADPCS)/Executive Nurse.

This position is open until filled.  First referrals will be made after July 23, 2012 and continue until selection is made.

 First area of consideration will be given to permanent Kansas city VAMC employees.  Internal and External Candidates will be considered.   This announcement may be used to fill identical positions vacated within 6 months of any selections made from the original announcement.

 Salary and grade will be determined upon qualifications and experience.
